Special Reports

Special processing is performed to help reduce the amount of seismic data to be manually processed by creating and honing filters that remove data that does not pertain to an actual seismic event.

Special reports are ad-hoc reports performed for customers to help maximise the benefits of the seismic monitoring system and processing feedback.

  • Rock mass velocity calibration is aims to improve the velocity model used when evaluating event location and source parameters.
  • Calibrated ground motion attenuation relation is necessary for both evaluation of dynamic impact of instabilities in the rock mass to the neighbouring excavations and sensitivity analysis of seismic system.
  • Analysis of unusual activity is performed to try to determine the mechanisms responsible for areas producing unexpectedly high seismic activity.
