MINE SEISMOLOGY WORKSHOP – Sudbury, Onatario

Sudbury, Onatario, 12 October 2021

The workshop will be held on the 12th of October 2021 in Sudbury, Onatario.

The workshop is aimed to promote discussion of recent developments on the topics of mine seismology. Presentations will focus on using seismic data to calibrate numerical models and forward model seismic response for ground motion hazard maps; dynamic stress fracturing and the consumption of ground support capacity, and case studies of seismic monitoring of hydrofracturing in mines. Latest developments in IMS software will also be demonstrated. The workshop also includes a primer course on the basics of mine seismology.

Ontario COVID 19 Vaccine Requirement
