MINE SEISMOLOGY WORKSHOP
WMC Conference Centre, Kalgoorlie, 15 – 17 Oct 2024
The workshop aims to promote presentation and discussion of recent developments on the topics of mine seismology: mechanisms of seismic events and mechanics of rock-burst damage, processing of seismic monitoring data, audit of assumptions adopted in mine design and planning (e.g. parameters of in situ stress field), re-entry protocols after blasts and large seismic events, assessment of seismic hazard and rockburst hazard.
The workshop also includes a primer course on the basics of mine seismology and demonstration of IMS software.

The workshop will be held at the WMC Conference Centre, 44 McDonald Street, Kalgoorlie WA 6430. Please refer to Google Maps for the location.
